Santas everywhere but fear not - they are just raising money and having fun!
Christmas can bring out our 'silly-sides'. There will be many events including visiting bands, Christmas markets, carol singing but one event that caught our eye Thursday was a 'Santa dash'!
Obviously the Santas in question are fake. The real Big Man will be busy now through to January but you may encounter numerous fake Santas dressed accordingly.
Many will not have the big guy’s approval but we imagine the Santas here will.
Men, women, young, old or aged somewhere in the middle can still apply to take part in this year's annual Santa dash in Glasgow, Scotland Sunday.
"Registration for the Glasgow Santa Dash closes on Saturday at 9am! You can sign up here: Glasgow Santa dash
It looks great fun but the good news is that it can also raise much needed cash for charities.
For Christmas 2015 the nominated charity is: Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow
Check out the council website for full details and application form. Make sure that you complete fully to ensure you are registered to run as well as raise money.
First buses in Greater Glasgow will be allowing customers dressed as Santa to travel free of charge to the Santa Dash.
It looks like the Santa Dash is well supported and perhaps other towns and cities will join in next year.
In 2014 the Glasgow "Santa Dash raised £32,000 for its two nominated charities - the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice and the Sunday Mail Centenary Fund."
Go get 'em Santa!
